It depends on what type of interview and which country.. For Nigeria say.. It was only so the gap was 3 days. For Tanzania, for ex, it was physical. Gap was a week. Some countries, two weeks-however it can’t be longer than this.

How I plan to apply my knowledge of my field to the betterment of my nation. I was also ask about my family but these are the important ones I recall.

You have to be aware that changing programs can be very two sided. On one hand, the expert evaluation deemed you eligible for interview based off the combination of your “academic preferences” and entire application. Even your Letter of intent, in one way, must have linked to the major you chose. This will probably be the same for your dreams and aspirations, most likely. So, you requesting a change in major can bring questions.. Why are you no longer interested? Doesn’t this mean your dreams have now changed? With your new course in mind how do you still plan to stay consistent with your aspirations? Most importantly, they’ll now have to consider the competition of your newly requested choice of major.. So, you can see how much a big thing changing course in the interview is. However you can try. If at all you get the turkey scholarship, it better be a course you’re happy and comfortable studying.

It would make more sense if in your application, your reasons for choosing both majors are clearly stated. YTB are looking for people who have defined dreams and aspirations. To see an aspiration linking to both medicine and IR can be very blur. Let’s just hope for the best at this point. Most likely, by this time, your application should be undergoing evaluations.

Interviews in Nigeria is said to be on zoom and also No math test. Is this so? Could this be because of selected major?

I don’t think so. They probably used a criteria to judge the aptitude of applicants since there’s no math test. I got an interview along with my twin. Similar traces I’ve been seeing are people with SATs above 1450. Note: This is just an observation as I’ve not seen so much Nigerians who were selected.
