No, Levi isn't Asian, only Mikasa is because of her mother. Due to him being an "Ackerman", wich is a German surname, I believe him to be German. (A lot of people say he is French, but that isn't true either.)

In the manga at this point, the japanese people of the outside world came to the walls and stated how Mikasa was "one of their own" etc., but they didn't say a word about Levi, which leads me to believe he isn't Asian. He would also only be Asian if him mother ( Kuchel) was part Asian, since we don't know who his father was and the chances of that person being Asian are basically equal to 0.000001%. So yeah, probably German.

There's a lot of hate right now towards how the manga will end. Fans should appreciate all the effort and responsibility Isayama has taken writing for years, and worrying about how to end it in the best way. Eitherway I like it or not, I know he did his best. It's not that,why he is so silent .Most silent people would end up with such vibrant and game changing ideas.AOT is an anime filled with suspence and action, moreover, a similar but different ideology from that of the world.I have heard one of his first interview in which he told that ,if he haven't had the chance to display AOT on the big screen he would have quit from being a manga artist.Hopefully,Kodansha comics decided to publish AOT. Now we can say that AOT is among the topmost anime recognised around the globe. Hajime Isayama tells that AOT being his first series, it's kind of difficult in maintaining the level of thrill it provides but the most difficult part of it is to give a suitable ending that would blow up every mind watching AOT. It's true that Hajime feels like wrapping up AOT, it's because AOT being his first anime and a world wide hit gives him a burden of huge responsibility of finishing it in a style.And the chances are slim for him to create another anime ,although he has a storyline in his mind.
