Heartbreaking and akward interview by Danish Radio (DR) with Johan Wohlert and Jonas Bjerre from Mew on Bo Madsen's departure with reference to their upcoming perfomance on Orange Stage at Roskilde Festival 2015 without Bo Madsen.

Well they in fact couldn't or wanted to say anything about Bo's departure. So sad because It is kinda weird not seeing Bo in the group.

Really fucking wish I spoke Danish right about now. No idea what was said but all I know is that I’d love for Bo to come back. Obviously for the music but also because it’s so sad to see these lifelong friends going through such a difficult time.

The interviewer is basicly asking them about Bo's departure and keeps digging, though they keep telling her, that they have nothing to say. That's why Jonas seems annoyed in the end of the video. Never seen him so angry XD It's so awkward.

It's pretty rare that to this day nothing (at least as far as I can tell) has leaked out about what happened. Bo has just said they failed to maintain their friendships and something about "keeping secrets." I haven't seen anything from the other three at all. I think it says a lot, though, that they only managed one album after Bo left.

Tbf they've always been slow to come out with albums. None of the current members follow Bo on social media and vice versa, so I'm guessing they had a falling-out of some sort

He left because it became too much for him. And his relationship with Jonas was too straining and till this day it seems they're not friends anymore.

I'm guessing thats what the lyrics in rows and cross the river on your own are about. They just werent vibing with each other anymore, and maybe the musical direction? Bo wanted more rock, Jonas more synth? Obviously this is just me guessing based on how +- sounds, but thats what I think.
