Amy and Emily are so humble about all that they have contributed, and they are brave to put part of their lives into film. Thanks to Indigo Girls and the filmmakers for all that they did to put this beautiful film together.

Fabulous songwriters and musicians, of course, but as an older guy, I am most proud of the role they have played and continue to play in moving this country towards living out our founding principles and values. Earlier this morning, I particularly enjoyed interviews in which Amy and Emily spoke of their struggles with accepting themselves and finding a way forward as artists and citizens. Many of us straight white males appreciate their candidness and the knowledge we gain from it. Communication is a huge part of understanding. Ole Galileo would surely be proud. Thanks for the post.

I love how they did everything with a sense of humor and be comfortable and honest.

I’ve been lucky enough to grow up with their music from my parents playing them! Can’t wait to watch the documentary and hopefully catch them in concert soon (:
