No comments?! Really? Okay, this shall be one: On that question/answer about the best decade of music... It's sad that she thinks music is better now, when even her own songs have only got worse with the last 2 albums... And generally, needless to say everyone still seems to experiment with the new sounds they can make and it pretty much sucks, lol. In most cases it's like a bunch of kids trying too hard to appear updated or whatever. If I made music I'd be very careful not to overdo it with those new toys. They're quite cool but they mean nothing when there's no soul in a song (edit: rewatched that part and she even said songwriting is everything, good😁), and nothing will ever compare to the sound of some good old-fashioned/traditional instruments and some deep/meaningful lyrics (most music is still about being happy or in love and it's incredibly silly... during a time when half the world is depressed because of how we destroy the Earth and most are indifferent about everything, like they live somewhere else or in some movie - and others go to the other extreme of being fanatical and never admitting mistakes or respecting different perspectives... talk about a mess, and I'm afraid good ppl won't be enough to turn things around... these are things to write about if you're a true artist, imo). Anyway. It's no coincidence that Lights's fans love her acoustic stuff. Simple effects and a guitar and a magical, intimate voice singing words you can relate to can't be topped. And I do like artists like Chvrches too (btw, check that version of Miracle with an orchestra and tell me it's not as good as the version made with the more modern tools, or even better). I hope this comment satisfies😅
