Didi, tank you for this video. In this video on 7 minutes 25 second you have told something like " When atom form molecules the discrete energy levels are changed into bands". But separate molecules also have discrete energy levels. If atoms form solids, where the atomic wavefunction overlap sufficiently then only band is formed. In solid atoms may or may not form molecules. There are ionic solids where atoms don't form molecules.

yes, absolutely.when two atoms are brought close to each other, it leads to intermixing of electrons in the valence shell. As a result, the number of permissible energy levels is formed, which is called an energy band.

Don't worry, ap interview hindi me bhi de sakti ho. Bas concepts clear honi chahiye. Aur quantum physics mein bohot sare research scope hai. It's the era of quantum mechanics.
