Rick is a supernice guy and tells here his story about his time in Exodus, the Bay Area Metal scene, now and back then, Toby and Andy and the divers from hell, his friendship with Paul Baloff, his connection to Europe, especially to the Netherlands, his future activities in the scene, but also about his private life and more.

Rick is cool AF, saw them in 92 on Body Count - DRI tour and met him, we smoked a fat joint in my car, did multiple shots of crown even played couple games of foosball amazing I remember anything about that night.

Thanks for the interview 🤘🏻 In regards to rerecording No Place for Disgrace, the original intention was to remix and remaster the original record like they did for Doomsday for the Deceiver (which sounds really good and was a huge improvment compared to the original mix but without losing its roots). At the time they released Doomsday FaJ was signed by Metal Blade. For their second record (NPFD) FaJ was signed by Elektra, a major label. Flotsam asked for the original tapes to remix / remaster them ,but didn't got them, so they decided to rerecord it. To be honest it didn't worked out so well and I'm a huge Flotsam fan and wouldn’t say anything bad about the band. I stick to the original.

I've been asking lots of Metal bands if they would please make light colored t-shirts so I don't have to sweat on hot days. . None of them so far have and I resort to wearing Adidas or something.
