Interview: Robert Lippok @ Venice Art Biennale 2024

Berlin musician and artist Robert Lippok is a long-time partner of the Goethe worldwide, with many projects in Toronto and Canada. In 2024, he is one of six artists chosen to represent Germany at the 60th Venice Biennale.
GoetheTO spoke to him in February 2024 about his response to the German Biennale theme of “Thresholds” (and his previous Goethe project “Glacier Music”), his plans for installing a sound piece on an island and his collaboration with the curator of the German presence, architect and gallery director Çağla Ilk, and the five other artists.
