The original creators were huge Ryan Reynolds fans, and by the late 90s early 2000s they were modeling a lot of Deadpool's character off of him. Eventually they tried to be explicit about it and referenced him by name in one of their comics, which is the one Ryan picked up on and that'd convinced him to make playing Deadpool a goal. The rest is history :)

Logan New Oh man if Deadpool ever ends up in the MCU, they have so much material to use nobody would care if it isn't R. He can bitch about how when someone gets shot there's minimal blood and gore, or how ridiculous it is that he can't curse. Maybe a running gag could be how upset he is that he can't swear or talk dirty, and then when the movie uses its one F-bomb allowed (which he references), somebody else gets it and he's even more pissed. Then they can just unleash him in sequels, because I'm pretty sure I read somewhere that one of the high ups at Marvel said they'd be open to R rated Deadpool movies.

Deadpool and Deadpool 2 are pretty different movies, in the first movie you get to experience pure Deadpool a lot more, where as in this one he has so many more characters around him which doesnt give it the same feel.

You know what i never liked. I always found him incredibly annoying in whatever movie he popped up in, especially Blade Trinity, i used to just keep thinking who the fuck is this guy!? Hes came out of nowhere and hes not funny, hes dull! But i have to say Deadpool was his calling, Ford is Han Solo (and Indie), Connery is Bond, Arnie is Terminator; Ryan Reynolds IS Deadpool, he was made for this role. I really like him as Deadpool, hes just perfect in the role i really enjoyed Deadpool 2, i actually never watched the first one at the cinema because of Ryan Reynolds i just ignored all the hype and praise and finally got rnd to watching it like a year later and i loved it. DP2 has now taught me to just chill out and take a break from basically taking all these franchises so seriously (which i do). I love sci fi, Starwars is my thing and im just obsessed with continuity and having everything connect and make pure sense all that stuff, and ive just been so frustrated with Lucasfilm of late, but Marvel have just nailed their MCU and DP2 just pokes fun at everything, but its not malicious or anything, i just got it.

Being solo is the reason I liked deadpool, and ironman in the first place. So when you start adding other assclowns, you start taking away all that is great from main character.
