If you can afford it, you should be buying this game to show support. An indie studio that gave us the first authentic boxing game in 13 years. Many are claiming it’s the greatest boxing game ever, and even if it wasn’t, they deserve praise for giving their best try at it. I complained about the deluxe edition because gamers who go out to buy a new game on day one should be rewarded not have content locked behind a pay wall. I'm excited to see an underdog take on the big dogs. Giant companies have been taking us for granted for far too long. It's long past due for new companies to take their place. Most people seem to believe that only a big company can make a high-quality game, but they are wrong. As someone who understands development, AI and more. I can tell you with confidence that modern tech such as modern AI are massively closing the gap that gives underdogs a good chance to compete with the big dogs. I assume EA might release a remastered version of fight night champion, but I'm rooting for Steel City to be a force to be reckoned with. I'll buy every DLC, addon and more to support Steel City as long as I see consistent updates of improving the game. That's something we don't get from EA. UFC 5 was 95+% the same exact game as UFC 4 with cuts.

Tbh I think a lot more people are finally waking up and realizing this. The last 5yrs some of the best games to come out have been from the smaller studios (other than Red Dead 2,Elden Ring,God of War). One of the main reasons why I think that is, is because these smaller fish so to speak actually have passion for the game they’re putting out. Of course the goal is to make money but it shouldn’t take priority over making a GOOD QUALITY game (which is almost every big company out there)

Games a great start. Im sure with future updates it will become even better. Needs ref in the ring and get up from knockdown in the place you got knocked down. I hope when i win a title i get to see different cutsceens with celebrations hold the belts. I would have loved to have the option to start in the Olympics and then turned pro in the career mode.

We need James toney, Pernell Whitaker and Welfred Benitez in the game, a referee and punching in the clinch. If you clinch to long the ref breaks it up. We need different rules, like no standing eight count, three knock down rule and save by the bell. Also, we need a press conference and fight build up for championship fights.

5.Today I played with Usky for the first time as a switch stance hitter. I only can switch stances when I stand still. It would be very cool to switch while punching like he actually does. His punches aren’t as fast as they should be. This guy is very unique and one of my favourite hw styles in history.* 6. Bruno was known to have a dangerous hard jab to keep the person at bay and could ko them; his jab can’t ko people. 7.Frazier fights in the same pattern up and down head movement, throwing 1 or 2 punches; repeat; Joe’s punch angles are wide hooks, straight jabs, a duck, and back to repeating the coming forward up and down head movement. 8.In the game, he also isn’t fighting like that; he is using a crossarm defense instead of his simple up-and-down bob. I don’t know. If this is fixed In the full version, or those other things missing, I said, also Frazier is missing his leaping hook; he threw that a lot. 9.And I wonder if weight will come into play. It’s no way if I’m bruno/bowe hitting smaller lhw like Patterson or Rock, I should need to hit them lots of times just to ko them or to put them in danger. 10.Morrison was known to use lateral movement to come in and out quick. It feels as if he is too heavy to do that smoothly. I also can’t hit combos fast with him as fast as he should. I would like all of this to be in the game would anybody else?

I have a 74" reach in real life. 155 lbs an 5' 11". Undisputed won't allow me to create this fighter. What am I doing wrong. It maxxed out my reach at 71" and he looks like a skeleton... Please help.

Not being able to throw a hook or an uppercut from guard is not realistic. Fighters throw more than jabs from a high guard. A ring side camera option would be awesome but you have to fix the punch options when blocking. Just being able to jab won’t cut it. Inside fighting is non existent with that gameplay. Fighters throw a range of punches from guard all the time. The announcing doesn’t match the action on screen and the fighter posturing when your not throwing a punch takes you out of the fight because certain punches dont register when the character is in the middle of one of those posture animations. If you fix these things the game would be awesome.

Wishlist of missing realistic movements list yours The 30s-40s era looks to be very overextending a lot of times to the body and is very hesitant in most movements.* They don’t fight from range much; they leave themselves open a lot. They use mostly counters when up close; the lateral movement is very basic; they don’t seem to be able to punch from range while doing it smoothly; they have to stop then punch most of the time, and their feet are mostly tiptoeing. This way of fighting was how they fought back then. I only see some of this outdated way of fighting in Louis/Rock in the game, and their able to use advances from the 70s-90s. Their fighting is way too smooth and fast for their era, which isn’t how they fought.

I have expressed many times how excited or happy i was about this game finally launching on consoles as i am a Playstation Player ( always was ) lol The Game does look good indeed and since i never was interested in looking too much what the game was at as a beta, i heard it needed improvements and apparently the very last update of the Game makes it look better .. i have followed the développement since it was called Esbc ( it was in my opinion better graphic wise and as far as tone and camera angle goes ) and the videos i have watched tonight are very promising .. I am a solo player as far as i am concerned so i dont care about online , i read and heard the Career mode was > but i am satisfied i will be able to play a simulation of the only sport i Love 🥊 Plus they announced other Boxers were going to come to the game.. My only concern and question ❓️ is : Are they going to continue support the Gamr after launch appart from including more Boxers ? The Game needs to be more polished in its animations and why not later a little update for the graphics is that is possible ? 😊 But sure, after waiting 13 years and being able to play with modern Boxers and a good roster at launch, being a Boxing 🥊Fan, i will definitely enjoy this Game ! I am happy to play as Regis Prograis and Caleb Plant , Taylor and many more... for 40€ in France that is half the price of a Ps5 game at launch !!! ❤

I'm annoyed that this company hasn't released a roadmap or anything for future fighters coming to the game but it is a good game. Can't speak for online yet as not good enough to even attempt it yet but I'm really enjoying the career and prefer it to the normal stupid cut scene cliché careers we would expect.

Im enjoying the game as i got it yesterday. However, it does need improvements like wilder is ridiculously over powered like even on pro, considering the Ls he's had recently, the creation needs more in terms of nicknames, tattoos etc, the commentary needs a huge and i mean a huge fix its terrible had to turn it off, other than that its very enjoyable, but yeah there needs to be a big patch post launch. At the same time i understand its the company's first attempt at making a boxing game, and i am sure they will release fixes for the game.

Pre Ordered for tomorrow on Xbox, but just couldn't wait so I went on steam and ordered the current version. WTF is this? I don't want to jump the gun but please tell me the console version is WAY better than this? Have you guys even played Champions. The PC version might be the worst boxing physics I've ever seen. I'm blown away by how bad this is. Must be the goofiest looking punches I've ever seen. Every style may be different but the punches all look exactly the same. It's not that Champions is better, its that Champions is 10+ years old and a thousand times better... Really feeling like I'm in for a let down tomorrow and needed to vent.
