I’m half German (my father was born in Germany in 1945 and raised in both Austria and Germany) and a lot of Germans are like this..very open and personable and funny. 😄👍🏻 My dad (I called him Vati) was always a more quiet & reserved man while I was younger growing up, or so I had thought. He took us to Germany and Austria for two weeks the summer I turned 13, and I saw an ENTIRELY different side my dad. I even saw him run up three flights of stairs by two stairs at a time when we visited one of the apartments he grew up in a lot of his life (which I was nervous 😬 I mean, my dad had me later in life, at age 45, so he wasn’t exactly a spring chicken 😂 I had never seen him do that before!). And when I met one of his friends, he told me ALL about my dad when he was younger and he was very much like this guy and aaaaalways talking about America, “acting” American, dressing “American”, speaking like an American..which was so funny for me to hear because I always got the impression that he wasn’t the biggest fan of America. In reality, I found out later on in life a few years before he passed when I asked him, “do ever wish you had raised me there or are you glad you raised me here?” And he said..he..both are okay..but honestly if it could be anywhere, I’d rather we are all on an island. 😂 whenever I listen to any German, it makes me think of my dad and miss him so much. I love it over there and the people are great! They are so lovely, grow-up/mature a lot faster there, and are much more down to earth than Americans are these days..but it’s like that in several countries. Then again, comparing any single country to _all_ of America is kind of impossible when it’s more logical to compare them to states..since every state is almost like a mini country in America.

Just to explain the story behind this. The German Rappers name is "Xatar". He is a pretty fat dude. Basically he was asked in an interview about his morning routine and he said the first thing he does in the morning is buying a "Köftespieß" (it's grilled Turkish kebab meat on a stick). Which given his pressing obesity and goofy character became sort of a meme in the German rap community, until suddenly Xatar fully went with the meme and began producing his own Köfte-Sticks with different flavours and it became quite a hit. He then went on to produce even more food like Frozen Pizza etc. It's a bit like if DJ Khaled made a career out of selling his own homemade Shawarma.
