I met Dave Brockie back in November '08 in San Francisco right outside the venue they playing that night, that I attended! He was standing outside checking his cell and I went up to him and said "Hey Dave!" he then smiled at me with hella wide open eyes and he said "Heeh-aahh!" I asked for autograph, and the only thing I had for him to sign was my Dr. Pepper bottle cap! He signed it and it was awesome! Hail Brockie! He said he never signed one of those before! lol

The only time i caught Gwar, they played the Pomp Room in Sioux Falls, SD. The band The Meatmen opened. They were making banter onstage about Satan and how there would be no Meatmen, no rock and roll, and no Gwar without Satan. Apparently, Dave heard this while backstage. When Gwar came on, about 3 songs in Dave says something between songs about Satan. He then says "Satan, a third rate Demon at best!" Lol. Great memory.
