The Author is actually very considerate to other's and he is nervous for the upcoming anime of his work. I feel so bad for him now because of the reaction of the people for the ep 1 of Goblin Slayer. The series didn't deserve the hate and i also feel bad when i saw mother's basement said that the Goblin Slayer is like written by a 14 year's old. I love him as a youtuber but i don't like what he said on his twitter. I just hope that all the haters will be proven wrong later on because what happening right now in the anime community is just not good.

I honestly loved it....the amount of ppl who loved it outweighs the amount who hates it,but its definetly not as dark as berserk imo. Cuz berserk is like they rape for the fun of it and for their own personal reasons like for their army. There r more people who like goblin slayer than hate it. GS is an awesome anime. It doesn't follow the usual hero op MC but instead the MC we get is more antagonist like. But that's what we need if we r to kill goblins. A very smart manga ln adaptation . I hope it keeps ongoing. Cause it is very good to read and watch.

The novel is totally worth a read, though if you read up to current even with what's available in physical LN form and translated you'll be REALLY far ahead of the manga as it's only up to 2 now while the LN has 4 available with 5 coming in September. Edit: Volume 3 of the manga is due out June 19th btw, you can find out the release schedule for the LN and Manga on Wikipedia under Goblin Slayer.

Wow! This is awesome! I'm happy for you being able to do these interviews and work in the industry. I'm looking forwards to The Goblin Slayer. The way in which he tells his story and gives little hints (direct or indirect) to flesh out the world is amazing. Makes you curious of what happens next and the Manga itself is like a cliffhanger each chapter (in a good way) - you just can't wait until more gets released. Either you wait for all of it to be made, or you jump at the opportunity to see it each page, but face the agony of waiting for whats next.

I love the Goblin Slayer series because the creator holds nothing back! In this series *nothing* if off the table. Some characters get dismembered, some die and some get far worse. This was one of those series that made me rethink fantasy monsters as a whole. I stopped thinking of them as a disposable throwaway creature for the hero to level grind through and started thinking of them as the darkest parts of humanity given physical form. Goblin Slayer is a *strong coffee* series. But if you like strong coffee, give it a try!

I really hope the Anime Adaption keeps the dark narrative and doesn't blur out the rape and psychological parts shown in Manga and in more detail in the LN. It is truly what sets the feel of the story and builds a background for the Goblin Slayer.

Victoria Ree LN's you mean? I personally really like the Kagerou Daze series, especially in combination with the music and anime! I also liked No Game No Life in Japanese with what Japanese skills I have and an OCR for the kanji, which suck to memorise by the way! (the English translation of NGNL, at least in the beginning of the first book, was really, really cringy) I'm planning on reading the Overlord series next (after Amber and Ashes, The Mirror of Her Dreams, Tokyo Zero, _Sterrenhoop, dunno English title_, The Thief's Gamble, The Swordsman's Oath, Jack of the Shadows and Damphir) I've been trying to get a hold of the Hyouka novels but they do not agree with me owning any, damn! Also, I've read the first 5 novels of Re:Zero, but found the progression a tad too slow for my liking (especially while watching the anime which freaking _skims through_ the highlights of the book like hole fuck!) Though, if you really like Re:Zero but want to know more of the story I would definitely recommend it! Especially since you get to learn the thought-process of Subaru much better, which justifies his action so incredibly well!

Master of Mundus not all versions of Batman have that rule. Punisher is not as good at planing as Batman (or Goblin Slayer) is, he is more of a brute force kinda guy. Goblin Slayer isnt about that.
