@R A R I'm thinking that's "partially" why Tannis Vallely (actress that played Janice Lazarotto) left after the 3rd season...! [:\

Howard Hesseman is still the coolest cat. He really hasn't changed a bit... thank God. And Loni must be immortal to look that good! Very good interview!

Howard was my cousin. He was like a brother. He was always there with an encouraging word. My Dad taught him how to swim @ the YMCA. Many fond memories. He will be missed. RIP. 😥❤🙏🏼

Rest In The Heavens Howard Hesseman. I was a big fan of WKRP as well as yourself.

WKRP came on when I was born,... My earliest memories are of WKRP playing on a Rabbit Eared TV, in syndication. When I was in elementary school, I watched Head Of The Class, and admired Mr Moore,... I hoped high school would be like that, and I probably learned more from that show that actual school. He was just as cool in real life,.. he was one of the good ones. I can say his characters shaped me growing up,... I'll forever be grateful... RIP, Howard Hessman,.

I feel exactly the same as you. Even the small part in Flight of the Navigator. He was doing Head of the Class and that movie at the same time and I recognized that as cool.

I worked on a TV show called Love You More a few years ago. I went for lunch (which was in a church) and a petite blonde woman arrived at the door at the same time. I said "after you" It was Loni Anderson. She looked exactly like she did in WKRP but I was amazed at how tiny she was. She was wearing 4 inch heels too. I stood in line behind her. She seemed very nice.

The show wouldn't have been half as successful without him. They were all necessary pieces to the public.

What is wrong with his health? In another video his chin is trembling. Comments are disabled. Love Howard.
@2flyabove4 жыл бұрын
I noticed that too in a video where he and Loni Anderson are being interviewed. In this video he's often covering his chin with his hand. Hopefully not Parkinson disease creeping in....
@lusasilva83733 жыл бұрын
@@2flyabove yes, I am sure we are thinking of the same video. He was shaking/trembling. Very ironic since Frank Bonner, Herb, just passed away from Lewy Body. 🥺

It’s too bad the camera work was so lame. Maybe they were primarily interested in sound bites.

I first heard/saw Hesseman in the movie Billy Jack. I later noticed him in WKRP sitcom. Then he disappeared; I'm not much of a follower of celebrities.
@kentlewis9872 жыл бұрын
He followed up WKRP with the last 2 years of One Day at a Time & another successful series, Head of the Class. After that he remained active in guest roles for many years.

I don't really understand why he wears the sunglasses, which he has done for at least two interviews. His teeth look slightly creepy now, too. And yes, I agree with some of the others who have spoken on here, that his voice sounds different, and that's a bit weird to hear. I fell hard for Johnny Fever!!

Liberal entertainment (liberal arts) in America is dying. Obama gave the citizens of America transparency and we turned OFF entertainment and turned to God, family, and patriotism. WKRP was a great show, but Howard Hesseman alone was not really funny. He was about as funny as Steven Colbert or Joe Biden.
