Recently I got s chance to meet Manav Kaul when he was shooting in Noida for his next project. Very simple and down to earth person. I requested him for a selfie and he agreed for the same without thinking a minute.

"Of Course Ajeeb Dastan was shefali's story" , I think that's what Maanav's acting. End of the show we all believed This is Maanav's story. Manav kaul owned the story! He acts like he is soul of life. He brings that soothing and calming feeling of life in his works!!

What an amazing interview. To sum it up it was like less about acting more about life. The simplicity with which he talks is just......

I enjoyed watching him in The Fame Game. I also loved him as Kabir in Ajeeb Daastaans, ‘Ankahi’. His portrayal was sweet, genuine and heartfelt. I couldn’t get him out of my mind after it had ended. His expressive eyes and warm smile pulled me in completely. I’m reminded of Shahrukh Khan in films like Koyla and Dil Se. An actor who brilliantly portrays the vulnerability of his characters on screen.

Manav Kaul should write about the feelings of being absurd too. He is pure heart...i believe if he would be completely honest then he will write something which he never share with anyone.

Lovely interview! Although I wouldn't describe Vidya Balan or Madhuri Dixit as 'Alpha Female', not quite sure why Rohini kept on using that phrase to describe these wonderful actresses. Sure, Vidya and Madhuri have their own distinct screen presence and audience and are able to hold a film on their shoulders, but that doesn't make them 'Alpha' in any shape or form. Both actresses are brilliant at their craft and continue to appear in movies or series that leave an impact on their audiences, and that is what makes them special, talented and wonderful! And Manav Kaul is very lucky to have worked with them both!

I fully agree - and when I said it also I hoped to god people wouldn’t misunderstand the intention - I just meant it as power women who were - in that moment - just more ‘stars’ than just actors - but I can see why it would be thought of as the traditional alpha definition. However, I am so glad Manav caught my intention and answered so beautifully!

@@rohiniramnathan5181 Love this! I appreciate where you are coming from now. Let's hope more and more women get leading and powerful roles beyond OTT platforms, and behind-the-scenes too. For example, cinematography, direction, sound design and writing, as many of those roles are still occupied by men. Whilst things are changing - and that's great - but when women are behind the camera, that's when real change will happen, as they'll be telling stories from a female perspective or gaze 😍

I too noticed you in Tumhari Sulu. Am impressed with your hero like quality, and that you can romance the SRK way :) and are a very good and smooth actor. And I admire your articulation, how you are yourself and found a place doing that. 🙌🏽🤍 If you’re in a promo, I will watch the movie - coz I trust it will be a good one.
