Dear Darling Jacq, I see you often in Moz video comments sections. You are one of the few Smiths /Moz fans as devoted to their entire musical productivity as I am. But I believe you fail to understand how much Moz was hurt by JM’s pulling away from the Smiths and/or for failing to support Morrissey as a solo performer. Look at Suedehead and Speedway as Moz’ position statements on the state of the relationship between Moz and Marr. Johnny has played with everyone post Smiths. Everyone except Moz. Even if Andy were still alive, reunion will never occur because of the end relationship between JM & Moz. And anyway, Moz continues to make fabulous music with a variety of great musicians such as Boz Boorer and Gary Day. See you around, my spiritual sister. Mozza! In my strange way I will always be true to Moz. Moz was asked about it in a video. Said he loved working with both The Smiths and the then current lineup . Said he enjoyed working with both, but he liked his new lineup better. I also like Geraldo Mansur and Mikey Farrell. Geraldo does Speedway in Spanish, Mikey a damn good musician. And you, my Darlin Jacq, are a truly loyal fan. Any friend of Mozza is a friend of mine. Hope to see Moz in concert, hope we see each other there. Moz’ army. I am glad Moz still has a childlike joy in discovering how much we all love him. Rock on, Darling Jacq! To me, you are proof that I am not alone. But I have been one of his close friends, like the lads in the Tomorrow video. If you are feeling unloved and not appreciated for who you are, I can assure you that as a person who truly loves & appreciates Moz, you have my friendship & respect. I know this is strange for me to say all of this. But my world is a better & happier place for me, knowing that there are others who share my love & respect for Moz. And it is clear to me & to the world that you share my thoughts & feelings about Moz. Hope you are having an overall great life. Moz reminds me that the realest people in the world are everywhere. You are not alone. We are the lucky ones. We “get” Mozza. He IS the one who dares to denounce the name of evil Cromwell. We will likely never meet. But you are clearly a true fan. And I choose to love & trust those smart enough to realize that Moz is our champion. A man who refuses to hide and/or sugar coat his beliefs. Truly he is the real deal. As are you. They won't get back together for money because Moz doesn't really care about the cash (he turned down a reported £20 million for one show). He thinks that he has worked hard since and that the others haven't and are therefore looking for a payday. Bloody shame though.
