My son also has autism but unlike Q, he is more on the serious and masungit side. Pero his being masungit makes him more adorable because he does not realize it and most of the time he says the funniest comments (mas nakakatawa pa kasi he says them with a serious face)😁. Sabi nga ng sister niya, "Kuya is funny without trying to be funny." Like Nini, it also took my parents a long time to be comfortable with my son. He had many tantrums kasi when he was a toddler kaya natatakot daw sila. But now that he is 16, he is more mature and he knows already how to control his temper. He also likes music, he loves to play the piano and he learns the songs just by watching videos in You Tube. Truly, special kids are really gifts from God. Our family feels so blessed because our son always remind us that miracles do happen. 😊😍❤ All the best to you Candy, Q and Nini.😊

I have high respect for Sped teachers. My son when he was 3yrs old cant talk and always cry when he needs something but cant express himself through words. I hired the services of a Sped teacher who goes to my house 3x a week. After one month, my son can already say the words Mama and Water. The Sped teacher also told me that improvement of my son will be easy if the family itself will cooperate and accept the condition and emotions that my son is going through. Everything will start at home and not rely only on the Sped teacher. As my son is growing up, eventually all his unacceptable and unusual behaviour no longer manifest in him. Physically, he looks like a normal person and the only thing that will show that he’s a special child is when he smile and cover his mouth while avoiding eye to eye contact.

Ganyan din maupo anak ko Kasi di nga na develop un abs niya, ini-encourage ko mag squat. Struggle talaga sa oldies na ma accept nila, ayaw paniwalaan. I always get into an argument with my mom about my daughter's condition. Everytime nakakagawa or nakaka salita daughter ko my mom would say "yan ba ang may autism?!" Honestly, napipikon ako kapag sinasabi niya un, kasi it means di niya matanggap.
