No, it has precedence in history of literature and art, like Faust or like Milton Paradise Lost. Beyond the triviality of nonconformity and rebellion, there is more into it, like finding new patterns of though and action. It doesn't have to be good or bad but mostly different. Religion and ideology strive towards a static vision, while some forms of satanism ' realising potential' is quite a dynamic ongoing process, my opinion that it doesn't end, it does not become static (Faust).

Makes sense if you're taking individualism and selfishness to an extreme. That's how many view satanism. The various books on witchcraft and satanism talk about casting off norms and stepping outside the bounds of society. However individuals will always lose to a team. True power is working within the system. That's why many believe the globalists, illuminati, jooz, whatever you want to call them are the real satanists.

Rebellion is seen as strength and freedom, but true freedom involves discipline and integrity. Rebellion often stems from a selfish desire to be different, without questioning if it is really worth it. I grew up dabbling in the dark arts, and about 3 years ago i encountered something spiritually darker than darkness, and so i opened up The Holy Bible. God spoke to me, and helped me through that darkness, and has helped me to remain safe and productive, He has made me a better person by saving me from satanic, misanthropic lifestyle. I still write heavy music, but now I do it for the LORD. Jesus saves ✝️ 🙏
