Phil Lynott a very talented wise and modest man. He wrote and composed beautiful songs. With his beautiful, strong voice he was able to sing in a variety of musical styles. He loved his country , loved people but for some reason he was unhappy . Although he tried to hide it , there was sadness in his eyes , sadness in his voice. He was more lively on stage seeing his fans. I love Philip's voice and i'm very sorry i couldn't be at his concerts but those such were times . Phil Lynott is legend a beautiful legend is still alive in our hearts. We miss you Phil . ♥️🎶🎸

As much as i like Phil he wasnt wise. Nor was he singing over a braod range of musical styles. He was pretty limited as a singer. And his lack of wisdom had him writing alot of tirds that didnt chart or get radio play. And his dalliance with skag was a fools choice. Sadly he lost it all because of it.

This broke Phil's heart, All that was needed some time for the boys and Phil to heal themselves, get off the hard stuff it was never any good. Phil drove himself into the ground and gave too much of himself to others and did not keep enough for himself. Phil was a born rocker and Thin Lizzy was the very best rocking band in this world. God bless you Phil with many gifts but you left us to soon

A fan since 76. When I went to school for music in LA on the performance stage I would do Thin Lizzy tunes. The guys from Europe would lose their minds! And friends were made. Thank you Philip Paris... Look at this video. 25,000 views between 2021 and 2024 and growing. I would say that he is still an influence on this planet. Thanks for posting this! If he had lived, Thin Lizzy would've absolutely had a resurgence. Of course he took it hard, who wouldn't? But they could've found the long view. Of course the music would return, it just needed some time for people to rediscover it.

People talk about this inner sadness in him. Could it be people didn't give him his proper credit or have a willingness to understand him? Im certain most of his faults a lot them anyways were do his disposition, not his actual true character. Shame for those that had to know the worst of him im sure he didn't mean for it to be that way. Unfortunately i cant speak on Philips behalf. I know that would bother me but after so much time you build up emotional calluses and find an emotional crutch like alcohol or drugs. We love you always Philip you are the best musician of our time. Sacred and sentimental to my heart anyways.
