I think Anupama is okay with nepotism. I remember a session with Rahul Desai where he was critical of Ishaan and Jaahnvi but Anupama said she is okay with the casting if they are as talented as the both of them. This is exactly the argument that the likes of Karan Johar throws at your face.

Ar rock hey! I dont think so the reason being in almost all of her interviews she talks about how nepostism is there in the industry. As a viewer a direct assumption that i make is that she isnt the flag bearer of nepotism. At a point at which you dknt support nepotism, we as viewers expect that anupama will treat people equally. But, when she introduces people like Jahnvi and Ishaan right before their first films, and not Tapsee or any other B list actor, it becomes problematic. Tbh, when you say that you value talent, how are you not passing a value judgement onto people, when you are supposed to be neutral, to enforce a non biased culture.

Yeah why people go to watch their movies when they feel nepotism is wrong and you can see this in jahnvi kapoors career ,just after one movie she is getting to play a titular role in takht and a role to play the first female combat pilot,do you expect an outsider to get such good roles to shape their career,of course no but this is the reality of bollywood

The interview was very fun and Sneha is a great interviewer but I understand where a lot of people are coming from. Anupama Chopra is the face of this channel. If Ms. Chopra can interview Jhanvi who was 0 films old then she should have made an effort to also interview these two actors who have more experience. It totally seems like she also is like the rest of bollywood - only give importance to whom Karan Johar deems important. Quite disappointed in her. How will things ever change if there is discrimination even in these spaces.

Sanya and Radhika are supremely talented. Some of the best actresses of their generation. Much better than the likes of Alia Bhatt, who unfortunately fooled the whole audience into thinking she is some type of Meryl Streep because she has been in good movies. Radhika and Sanya tho; raw talent.

Sneha Menon Desai Sorry. Wrong intention of mine. But- I do want to know how do you guys decide which set of people to interview?? I mean it baffled me also that you interviewed Mithila Palkar alone while Anupama interviewed Dulquer Salmaan. Is this merely a coincidence that Anupama "primarily" and "mostly" interviews A-listers while you interview less famous people, the likes of Parvathy, Aditi Rao Hyadri, the YPD 3 gang. I don't know if this is merely a coincidence but - in my head this is how I fit this scenario together - since you are carrying FC Instant series on your shoulders, and "primarily" have conducted interviews of people who are not so famous when compared to the A-listers Anupama primarily interviews- it is giving the message to FC viewers that despite being newcomers, janhvi and ishaan are given an elevated platform of interviewing, because they are being interviewed by someone who is designated to interview A-listers, while newcomers of equal standing or even a higher standing (Sanya has done Dangal) are being interviewed by someone who doesn't mostly interview A-listers. I hope you and especially Anupama see why FC viewers are pissed.

Firstly Anupama isnt a starkid. She maybe the wife of Btowns biggest producer but she made her mark much before their marriage. So I dont see the nepotism in our coments. Besides, Anu is the head of FC. No doubt Sneha did a truly wonderful job. And I actually mean it. She is one of the few people who can do these lightweight interviews and still make it interesting. But like I said This is Anupama's channel and that makes all the difference. Kinda like what happened at the National Film Awards. Not that the ones who protested hated Smriti Irani (some of them might have, though). I hope you see the difference.

Sneha Menon Desai , no at least I don't, I believe each of you as interviewers bring something unique to extract from the actors by hosting them for interviews. Have always been of the opinion that you should interview everyone that Anupama interviews, with a different repertoire of questions to open up new scope for conversation, so that you account for FC being varied enough to dish out diverse content from the same actor,for interviews! Hope that gives you happiness, looks relevant to the scenario and also weakens your stance of defence against it. Or let's say for a change and in the interest of doing nepotism over you, there's a role reversal, and you interview shah rukh khan the next time and anupama interviews a new xyz. Would like to see that trend prevalent of FC for sometime, to truly maintain that you aren't lesser than Anupama in any which regard.

Okay. Firstly, nobody is saying that Sneha did a bad job and no we are not indirectly impying that. Anupama is the head of FC. Plain and simple. It's like you go to an event expecting to be honored by the President only to be welcomed by a minister. The minister herself maybe prolific. However, if this was Sneha's channel.. No.. You got my point. Second... Please dont bring Richa Chaddha and Pankaj Tripathi here. Mrunal Thapar was part of a panel that included Richa and Frieda Pinto. Next you will say SRK and Akshay Kumar because hey, they are outisders as well. The question is, if Dhadak was Richa Chaddas DEBUT (or somewhere aound the mark), would she have got the same treatment from FC as the star kids got? I seriously doubt that.

Ar rock Let me present a counterpoint. To your first point - whether Sneha did a good interview or not is besides the point. Sneha is an interviewer in professional capacity just like Anupama is. The notion that an interview with her is degrading or dishonour is the problematic notion. You assume that because you think it is not a logistical issue or anything else which may be a possibility. Secondly, debut vs non debut, group vs non group don’t hold up too even as data points. This is a Vishal B film and both actresses are fairly popular to the public. On the contrary add another interview of Rima Das by Anupama to your data point when all she had was a national award for best film. That was a one on one. Things like shoot planning, logistic challenges, availability unavailability - all happen practically.
