Chris really does a great job interviewing. The flow is natural, the back and forth is fun and doesn't feel forced. You can feel the genuine passion for comics from both people. Best channel.

Rick Remender's Venom is still my favorite ongoing marvel comic of all time. Black Science is a work of art that deserves to be bigger than it is. As a Diabetic, I thought it was kind of hype that the son in BS was diabetic, and the drama that added while that was happening. I think Rick has a natural talent at adding a human element to anything he works on. Much respect.

Putting a face on a talent like this is amazing. I’m 54, we rarely knew what the creative talent even looked like, much less sounded like. I really fascinated at how any person can write at the level he writes at! How do yo do it??.

This was a great interview Chris. Remender has done such great works from the beginning. I used to hand sell Fear Agent at my shop. Same with Sea of Red. His X-Force stuff is some of the best work Marvel has produced. He's such a talented writer.

Really good and interesting interview! Good job Chris! And it’s cool to hear about Remender. Loved his run on Uncanny X-Force. It’s up there among my favorite x-runs of all time as well. My only regret is that he got to write x-books during a time when Marvel didn’t really care about X-Men at all. Then again maybe that’s exactly why he was able to do such cool things bc he was on books that they didn’t care about. But imagine what he could have done if Marvel wasn’t so intent on burying the X-Men. Too bad he isn’t interested in revisiting Marvel and X-Men but I really get it. He probably didn’t have the easiest time. Anyways, it’s nice to get an interview that’s more open and personal instead of promotional and corporate like the interviews he did during his work on Marvel. He seems like a really cool and relaxed guy. Kind of guy you’d love to have a few beers with and I don’t even drink beer. Totally get and can relate to a lot of the things he said about his personal POV.

Rick saying anyone can do what he does is the flip side of Dunning Kruger, right. Skilled, talented, or even lucky people underestimate how skilled, talented, or lucky they are. Everyone can show up and turn in their best at least some of the time, but what that looks like is wildly different depending on the person and their environment.

Rick talking about Fear Agent's ending almost brought tears in my eyes realising that I've felt exactly what the creator wanted to give to the reader. That Mark Twain's quote is indeed the best you can get for such an emotional ending in a powerful and dramatic story like Heath Huston's. Definitely my #1 series of all time.

This interview was great!😃 Rick Remender is such a cool person!😀 I'm a big fan of his Uncanny X-force run. The arc with Psylocke and Archangel was heart wrenching.😢 Apocalypse Solution, Dark Angel saga and Final Execution: all great story arcs! As a Psylocke fan, i loved what he did with her in Final Execution, she was so relatable to me as she breaks down but afterwards, she gets up and kicks Brotherhood of Evil Mutants ass!👊 I didn't know about his Deadly Class series and despite it has been cancelled, I'll give it a try. I wish all the best to Rick and his family!😊 Oh i almost forgot... TOTALLY SUBSCRIBED!!!

Howdy, I wanna say what a great job you’re doing! I’m very new to social media and have been binge watching you and several others since late spring! Enjoying the variety of comics and subjects,I’m an older comics reader (50+yrs) and the last ten years I have become jaded especially the big 2 assclown marketing antics! But I’ve always been an indies comic reader the 45 years or so! Currently reading a lot more variety than ever before! I have some faith in the hobby! Rick Remender interview is excellent and hit home for me! I write &draw for myself as a way to cope with everyday bullshit! Love to be around creative people and take in anything positive ! Keep up the great work! Thanks!

Great interview. I didn't know anything about Rick even though I see his name everywhere and have enjoyed some of his work. Great advice he gave there. I just published my first comic on Amazon and I think anyone can do these things, it's just about committment and seeing the process through. All those hours after work I could have spent on my butt watching TV, I instead spent drawing and writing and now I'm a comic book creator 😀
