@@thisshallpass5031 Sorry, my comment isn’t clear. I commented when they were discussing the idea “Weyane entering Eritrea to bring solution”. I don’t support Weyane to to enter to Eritrea. I condemned the Eritrean soldiers entering Tigray, but we can’t use this to justify the TLF’s desire( not all of them) to enter Eritrea. Additionally, I am also pro peaceful protest( zeygonotsawi galsi). Thanks!

Selam Samson, Keep it up and I think the peaceful resistance is the only way for peaceful transition in Eritrea. I think it will help your cause if you can use some examples from Eritrean resistance. Fir example: ማሕበር ሸውዓተ was such a successful example that we can learn from. Another example was the release of prisoners from Sembel and adi Khala. These dare some examples, where if the people are organized they can do many, many things possible. Yes, those ELF, EPLF may have a leading role but in the end the operations become successful because of the people who made it possible under the control of the enemy. There is nothing that can stop our people from doing so today. But Samson, I think your efforts would be more successful if you chose the method of struggle and create an implementation manual specific to Eritrea and teach and recruit those people who believe and build momentum. You can’t and should not try to convince the whole society to see the vision and expect to join it. The people joined ghedli not because most of them have suffered personally, but they see what others were doing and they would rather join. You should listen wediShawel interview and see how and why he decided to join. So forget convincing the former EPLF, TLF abd others, they will join when they see the momentum.

I agree with samson. You always have to prioritize the benefits of your country and your people. You can not depend on someone else's promises. Just because weyane said they respect Eritrean people and the sovereignty of the country, it does not mean that will be the fact on the ground when they arrive to Eritrea. So seltene, your job is to defend your people's interest not Tigray's interest or reasoning. Tigray has full right to say they want to get into Eritrea and remove DIA from power. But after that, whether they will keep their promises or will take revenge only God and time will tell. So we have moral obligation to oppose anything that does not benefit the people of Eritrea.

I always admire your work seltene, you doing phenomenal job as a journalist, but in this discussion in particular I totally agree with samsom. None violence solution can be done, let’s say dembe fthi in the previous years instead of fighting each other if they were together and worked to educate the community lot of people would be alarmed by now but we’re not in the same topic we’re just blaming each other. Secondly even if we say we can go into the country with TDF who’s we there are a lot of wudubs, who are we going to be violent to because some of the wudubs support the idea but most of the people don’t so, it can turn into civil war but if firstly educated ourselves abroad and we have a mature understanding we can also educate our people back home but if not the violence will continue. Our main purpose should be minimising the violence not add some to it we have proof that violence does not solve anything. Amhara took Eritrea by violence and it created more violence. Shabia defeated jebha with a violence and nothing solved. And now shabia and Amhara committed violence and it doesn’t seem to solve anything so violence might solve temporary problems but not permanently. Just my opinion though, big up to you both guys.
