It's a bit sad that Siedah is only known in the States for her work with Quincy and MJ...it's reductive...she did so much more...go check her work with a big British Soul/Funk band called 'The Brand New Heavies' and their entire "Shelter" album, from 1997, which has Siedah as main vocalist/writter...it's such a great album...
