I got to sit around drinking with Rainy, Cal, Cal's girlfriend Heather and others way back in the day, 81, Colne Railway Workers Club, before their set. Saw them twice there actually. Rainy said his favourite party trick was doing a poop in the host's bed. Great guys, we had a good laugh.

Fuck yeah Pete Davis and Phil as drummers were his inspiration. It's crazy how Phil got into drumming bc he got into a lot of fights back then and his dad bought him a drum set and said "beat this" 👊

Yeah, grey. I remember going over there when I was a kid in the early 80's visiting relatives in East Berlin. That's also what stuck out for me the most was how grey everything was. And the smell. In Berlin front city you definitely had a reason to be punk. Probably similar to the neglected, depressing north of England at the time.

This music was considered a noisey pile of shit..by the general public.in the UK.. in the 80s..and punks were all scruffy weirdos.... No one except a few kids was into it.. And every one took the piss out of us.. So I'm amazed now how every man and his dog..makes out.they love this stuff..the Rock fans.i knew looked down on punk...and laughed at the shit musical skill. And the way we dressed...two faced bastards. Ps ACDC,s first gigs were at punk dos..100 club ECT..in London.76 77. Because metallica cover it it must be ok to like....now...like to bump into the rock fans today...40 years on.... .for the record we were at the 1982..punk apocalypse tour...digbeth civic bham England....
