I remember hearing Whitney sing the Scarlett night song in November 2021 and was mesmerized ... then I got to experience more of her amazing vocals on the Valiant Lady in July 2022 ... Another great video. :) Lucy and Whitney, thanks to both. It's also super to know that Virgin has a place for anyone, based on talent and ability! I naively thought that by now, in 2022, nobody / no company would discriminate due to size, ethnicity, etc., and it is sad that other cruise lines are so short-side...but, it's great that Virgin Voyages is not! Good show for Virgin Voyages! And, Lucy, with your recent interviews with Christine, Pranav, Sasha, Mark, Anne-Marie, Anna, etc. it is clear that Virgin Voyages is blazing a brilliant path forward! :) I suspect now there might be more people looking to work for Virgin Voyages. (and, heck...if Virgin markets to sailors/guests that have a more modern / open mind, maybe even using Lucy's KZbin Channel to promote their rather unique approach to "cruising"...Virgin may find themselves with "waiting lists" / ques of people wanting to book a cruise!) I was lucky to meet you both last June. I'm glad you got to interview Whitney. I on;y met her at the end of my cruise. Looking forward to seeing you both in May 2023. We are on Valiant Lady for the Thanksgiving cruise! This will be our 18th cruise but first with Virgin. We are so excited!!

I just did the TA on Valiant and Whitney was the best, her voice and humor is amazing! I was confused by the idea of 13 mini-cruise directors, and wish it had been more like 5 folks. Also, Whitney, your Stargazing and Octopus shows were so gooood!

Hi Lucy! I am dancer and I'm preparing for my first time working at a cruise ship, I applied for Cruise staff (Entertainment, hostess) at NCL and currently doing all the papers to go on board with them after I had m interview and got accepted. You have no idea how helpful yor videos have been for me, even if I'm going on a different Cruise line, I am glad I got to see your videos and I can prepare better for my first time as a crew member. I am little nervous, not gonna lie... But, I wanted to say I love your videos! :)

You know, you're causing me a lot of stress. My wife and I will be sailing on Valiant Lady for 8 days in February. I keep meeting these great people on your channel, including you, and I want to meet them in person. But I know many contracts will end before I get there and I may never get to meet you, or Whitney, or anyone else you've introduced us to. It's heartbreaking!

Can only comment as a passenger but medical services on cruise ships are likely to be pretty formal and regulated, ie there isn't going to be a 'style' for medical treatment. In other words I suspect its a case of read the contract and terms and conditions

Hey!! That’s the same role as mine but in a different company ..I’m an artist too , sounds amazing.. I’ll definitely try and apply On rccl I remember watching the dancers on stage in their underwear having their photos taken, they said they have to do it in order to sent them to head office and if they look too fat, they are fired!! Horrible and objectifying.. love that virgin are so inclusive.

@@designdoctor247 yeah I know , lots of things are messed up on there! I could write an article on it.. they had to work out an hour everyday at 1am, none of them looked older than 22 so I’m guessing my age discriminate too.. the only straight cast member had been reported by them for harassment and even assault but the company didn’t do anything despite saying they “have a zero tolerance policy”
