True tbh , i do hate the meta , just watiting for pumps to return or something and smg meta is getting better, but it still doesn't feel the same. also the grappler gloves has waay less charges in pubs imo cause i find myself throwing it away for shockwaves just cause it's more versatile.

It's expected that people will leave. I enjoy the game for many reasons and him doing competitive and getting out played by newer competition of course more are gonna leave so what. I’d quit but like there’s literally no games like fortnite. There is NOTHING like it. Getting in a stacker with 40+ first moving, having comms like you’re in WW3. It is seriously so fun and the dopamine rush you get is insane. No game will ever be like fortnite man.

The only reason I’ve stuck with Fortnite is because it’s a live game, I rarely play BR now, I only play to earn cosmetics and emotes. Thank god for accolades, I hated playing BR so much. I have a job and can’t grind the game, nor would I like to spend the thousands of dollars I would have spent if I bought battle pass stars.

As a kbm Pc player that played since chapter 1 season 4...I agree with benjy once they switched to chapter 2...they changed the graphics, they added in the "bots/npcs" that shoot and this is when the game started to spiral out of control because the shooting which is the basic principle of the game, the shooting was horrible...aim assist was obviously SOO overpowered and they ended up nerfing it at a range but since chapter 2 aim assist up close has been soo broken...and epic refuses to re-work it so its fair....They are scared that they will lose controller players cause most fortnite players are controller....but they forgot to realize most controller players looked up to good KBM PC players like ninja/tfue at the time and guess what, they all quit cause of how busted aim assist was....and im sure people were cheating back then but not as much...now the cheating with soft aim/macros and more is just RAMPANT...like id guess 75%+ of competitive community are cheating one way another wether its soft aim/macros/walls/teaming.....The shooting/feel of the game in chapter 1 was the best....the map/loadouts were the best....My only ideas for fixing things is to re-work the shooting in the game overall like re-work aim assist so its not soo strong so you can clearly tell who is cheating....add back things we liked like the tac...the 2 current shotguns other then the striker are horrible...why do we have 2 different smgs when smgs have been a huge issue? Bring back the regular AR/scar...bring back jump pads(not detectable), more movement....and I dunno what it is but currently 07-05-2022 the servers are SUPER stuttery in close up fights its horrible, so id imagine people w soft aim and aim assist have a advantage since the game is aiming for them....well at this point im just ranting...hope this makes sense...I love fortnite ...but its slowly getting worse and worse(Feel of the game/meta/cheaters(aim assist)

Aim assist is still bad I used to play controller and there’s almost zero aim assist at range so when controller players are beaming people from range. That makes a person wonder but yeah even I considered quitting the game and I’ve been playing since chapter one season 2 so been around the game a long time and I don’t understand why epic doesn’t bring back the pump it does the same amount of damage as the striker but a higher damage to the body. I think the best meta too the game was the pump the regular smg the scar and the blue AR and the rockets. But that meta although people might says it’s boring was balanced. But too tell the truth epic needs to create different loot pools.

And they also wanted to get away from 1 pumping people so I see where they going but like without smooth gameplay currently the cheaters are dominating and if you notice controller players are the main ones placing right now cause of how strong up close their aim assist pulls plus they all cheating w soft aim macros and such

Valorant has its tense moments, but also has a lot of downtime and you’re always playing with 4 other ppl and its less fatiguing on your mind and body while fortnite it’s pedal to the medal and most of the time you’re playing solo so its no surprised he enjoys more and plays longer in valorant.

I also got really bored of Fortnite and quit. I wasnt playing alot until i found Valorant started playing Valorant and i just had a way better experience playing. I am not the best at valorant my peak is plat 1. Rn my rank is gold 3. My friend got a pc and i said to him download valorant and we can play. He wasnt to sure about the game but he started to enjoy the game. I also started playing at around 6-7 years and i have played games since. Started playing fortnite at beta till around c2 s2 and then stopped playing fortnite and went on to Valorant.
