Ten out of ten for Jovoy's Marron candle. WOW! Slightly sugared hot milk in a saucepan on the stove, with a touch of eggnog vibes. The strangest, most moreish, comforting gourmand candle out there and it burns almost as well as a Byredo candle, which is the highwater mark for candles so praise indeed. Wonderful!

Loved this interview with the Artistic Director!! I collect antique vintage perfumes and Jovoy was one of the best perfume houses in its heyday. You literally can not purchase an antique Jovoy perfume or bottle, some run into the thousands of dollars. I honestly didn’t know the house was revived and I thrilled to try any or all of their fragrances. Thank you for the interview, i will certainly be looking for to these in the near future. 👏👏👏

I find that it's not easy to like Jovoy perfumes. I have not tried Incident Diplomatique so not sure if it will change my mind. Among those I tried, Connaissance is the closest to a like. I am not into fig scents at all but I find that it is better than Philosykos. Is Jeroboam under the same company as Jovoy?
