Use spreder bar on bottom of transom it will stop motor dig n water kick off motor in to back of the boat ok my seahawk 2 is fine in 4ft waves n 25 mph winds at 4 mph on my trolling motor hit waves head on or at 45 angle same as sail boat tac up wind will help you out or use full power n try to get boat up on plaine to counter wave strike ok or use motor trim fins to help get bow up out water by 1 foot but not to much as dead wind will flip you over it works for me ok

I'm just going to extend the bars on the transom a few feet forward to stop the digging and I don't normally take it out in Ruff Water like that

@@subzero4698 spreader bar needs to be out of steel and needs to be 1 foot past side of hull on each side 2 or 3 inch thick to spread motor dig and use support rope on top of transom to bow helps lift motor 1 inch put motor trim fins on n put motor trim to slot 2 or 3 ok it works fine for me my night on the water testing my lights was in 25 mph head winds n 4/5 foot waves ok i was on tac up wind 45 angle some waves came over bow in to boat check it out ok it may help you with water chop day or nights out fishing like me bro ok keep safe on water

@@subzero4698 i go out in all types of weather day n night fishing 4/5foot waves 25 mph winds are at seahawk 2 limits of safty thats max it can take ok i try to be in 0/4 foot waves nil to 15 mph winds day or night fishing is fine for seahawk 2 ok bro
