Instead of a constant humming noise it sounds like a humming then a break,if that makes any sense..lol Also the needle is in the green but it jumps a little,still in green area but goes up & down? I had a friend hook up the system, I am alone so I don't have any help,maybe you can tell me what to do about this situation. Thank you!

We use it for about three people everyday in the morning. The taste and quick brew is one of the reasons we like it so much. There are so many choices of brands of coffee that we would grab what was on sale and test the different brands from there. I would definitely recommend trying different brands of coffee to find the ones you like the most because there are brands that quite frankly taste horrible.

Filter --> For normal filtration and regular vacumming of the pool Waste or drain --> For vacuuming directly to waste, lowering pool water level or to drain the pool Closed --> Prevents all flow of water from entering the filter media and pool Backwash --> Reverses water flow to clean the filter media Recirculate --> For circulating water back to the pool without going through the filter media Rinse --> For intial startup cleaning of the sand and leveling the sand bed after backwashing

Information given in a very good delivery with no side talk and stuff no one wants to here. I was almost certain I understood these settings and you helped me confirm before I vacuumed my first time junk settled on the bottom (foggy stuff. The filter works great however the stuff I am trying to get rid of seems to constantly recirculate because it is to fine for the filter and for the Dolphin robot. Also I had no idea about the rinsing. THANK YOU!!!

any chance you can make a video about how you vacuum with your current setup? I had the same exact setup I'm having issues with using a vacuum plate in the skimmer and too much power being drawn from the sand filter. the best thing I found online was to drill holes in the vacuum plate I've done that and it just killed the suction power of the vacuum.

​@@ESPNEWS8 When on Neutral it flows amazingly. What is the difference between N and Recycle? When i put it on Filter, the flow pressure back into the pool reduces to about half of the 'Neutral' setting. Then after 10 minutes, it reduces further to a trickle of about a 1/4 of the N setting. Too slow to filter the pool and so the Algae is beginning to build. Tomorrow I will check all connections for any partial blockages, but am wondering if I also need to do replace or do anything to the sand or sand container? The pump and sand were new last year and stored dry in October with lid open for 9 months in my garage til this June. I used a leaf-blower to extract out the top dust, (dried bugs, leaf particles etc,) and I didn't shake or disturb the sand in the white barrel. I just carried it to the pool and attached the connections. Did I do anything incorrectly? When would you replace the sand or mix it about? Sorr for so many questions, but I do appreciate any and all positive responses 🙂

Thank you for the info! My neighbor gave me his pool and pump and I’m trying to figure it out. When I turn on filtration there doesn’t seem to be suction, does it take a certain amount of time for pressure to build? I don’t want to burn the motor experimenting!

As long as there isn't air in the system already ,it should start up right away with good suction. Assuming you have the same or similar setup as mine. I would make sure you have enough water in the pool to fill the stock skimmer basket before the Intex filter sucks it out. If you aren't getting enough water in the tank attached to the pool the Intex will throttle back when air gets in the system. Then the skimmer tank will fill again, but now there is air in the collection basket that has to be released before it starts full output again.

It's typically good for 3-5 years, but you should check it yearly to make sure there isn't buildup on the top and clean it out if needed.

The N is neutral, and it is used for long term storage/winterization. It keeps the lines open so the water can flow freely. So if you live in a climate where it freezes it will let the water move and help prevent damaging the filter.

How does the FP setting work when dissolving salt? What setting would allow debris to go into your Leaf basket but not generate chlorine. basically just to keep pool free from fine debri. Your video is one of the most intuitive ones that I've watched. Thank you.

Hey Carolyn - Sorry I don't have a salt system. However, for the debris question basically any setting that is running water through the pump is going to be collecting debris in the collection basket. You'll mainly be using recirculate and filter which will both collect waste there. For the chlorine you really should use a float. Even though people sometimes place it in the collection basket it's not recommended as the chlorine levels build up and aren't good for the motor. Hope this helps!

never mind sorry! i found a reason for it. filling my pool up but i may not be around at the moment the water reaches the intake. i want to cleanse the sludge from the sand so i’ll put it on recirculate till it reaches enough depth to be able to turn on the backwash. this way i don’t get all that sludge from the sand into the pool. I filter mine for about 4 hours a day. I would actually suggest picking up a floater for chlorine treatment as that keeps high concentrations of it out of the pool filter itself. Great video, very informative. But one question when is the best time to run the filter is it before or after or while swimming? And for how long? My swimming pool size is 5.49 meters And how ofter i need to do backwash?

I usually run it for 4 hours a day, if you have the same model there is a turn dial setting you can adjust. Normally I kick it off in the AM, or in the evening (if I shock it). Backwash until the water looks clean, usually takes less than 30 seconds, and remember to rinse afterwards.

Hii, great vid. Exactly what I need to know, thank you 👌 one question would be how often does the pool need recirculating? Is it as and when the the chlorine levels need topping up? Run until tab has fully dissolved? Is it useful to put a tab in whilst regular filtering? Thanks 🙂
