So the reason why the gun fired is because Megatron had already fired the second shot but within the charge up Prime aimed it at his head. Also the reason Megatronus (the fallen) lost that quickly is because he hadn’t used his powers in so long (teleportation and telekinesis) is so long that is tired him out quickly. Plus Megatron wasn’t used to his new gun so another reason he lost quickly
