Great little tutorial. Also, to make threading a little easier and to prevent fraying, gently using a lighter to "seal" the edges. This works really well.

bless you! just had a major freak out when i pulled the end of my strap all the way through or at least did something like that to make me think my fanny pack was unfixable! but was able to fix it thanks to this vid! thanks a bunch!

Thank you for this video! I have a question please. My wife has a fanny pack that she uses a LOT! Unfortunately, the length of the strap gets longer ON ITS OWN!!! So I have to adjust the strap OFTEN! How may I permanently secure the waist strap to a certain length please, so that the strap no longer lengthens on its own? THANK YOU!!!!

since I can't see the strap you're referring to, I'm assuming it isn't adjustable. If not, I would just either fold over a section and stitch the fold shut. Hope this helps
