Looks AMAZING Matt! I bake something for my grandkids (3 Rugrats) and their mom and dad every two weeks. They take turns getting what they want. The last was a New York cheesecake with lemon meringue pie on top more or less. My youngest granddaughter (5 yrs old) wants a barbie cake in pinks of course. Thanks for sharing this! Doesn’t look as difficult as I thought. My stuff isn’t pretty normally, but it not hard to please a 5 year old twins. Wish me luck. I’ll let you know how it goes. 👍

Very nice. If you put the cake in the freezer for about 20 minutes after the coat of buttercream, it's easier to pipe on the rosettes

Awesome!! I would definitely double it. It is super easy to make though, so you could start with 1 batch and then make a new one as needed, but you will need a lot. So I would just double it from the start.

Hello! You are very welcome! It makes about 16 servings. Depending on the size of course. And you can save the trimmings and make cake pops with them if you wanted to go along with the cake.

What is the difference in buttercream frosting and whipped cream? Because in most cakes I see people using whipped cream for frosting around the cake. I am a total newbie so kindly clear my doubt

Whipped cream and buttercream are entirely two different things. Whipped cream is not a frosting for cakes, sometimes it is used as a filling but mostly it is used on top of desserts or used in other dishes. The texture and structure and taste of both as well as the ingredients in both are different.
