Peppermint Dream Cake

I had one of those huge mixers and I LOVED it. Unfortunately, when I moved the last time, I had to downsize, so I gave it to my church. I still have the standard size Kitchenaid, but, I really miss that big baby, and wish I had it. Yes, I used it for bread dough. I think I gave $500 for that thing, but, it is worth every penny. Enjoy!!! You have a wonderful son. Beautiful cake. You did great.

Really glad you got your new Bessy to do your mixing with (I decided Bessy was a good name for her because she's tough). I also liked the holiday music in the background today. It was a nice touch. I have never had a cake like this, but I'm sure I'd love it. Glad you did it with us. Last thing, you know that HEB ain't the off brand. It's the main brand. Them other folks are the off brands, lol.

You did so good! So beautiful and festive! I saw a Martha Stewart trick once where she took dental floss between her hands and pulled it through the cake layer to make two layers. Less crumbs than sawing through it with a knife. Congrats on the mixer. I know you are tickled pink. I think Beulah would be a good name for it 😁. ❤❤❤

I have several of the USA pans- Made in America! 🇺🇸 Their pie pans are the best Ironically I was doing about 19 different cooks recipes with the kids today & didn’t my KitchenAide stop locking while in use- OMG i almost went nuts! Original one was 35 years old this one- maybe 5 years!

I think you missed my prior comment….never go above 5 for kneading your breads and go for about 10 minutes. Kitchenaid says, I believe, in their instructions to never go above 5. Please check your directions before kneading and sending yet another kitchenaid to heaven..lol.
