The Comedy Barn is a family tradition for my family. We have DVDs and VHS tapes of shows weve been to going all the way back to the mid 90s.

Does the show change over the years?

@@IntheLoopPodcast certain elements of it have stayed the same but have been updated to be more modern, but in general its mostly stayed pretty similar with minor changes every few years.

It will be exactly one year since I was in Pigeon Forge in just eleven days. I've only been there once and it's already one of my favorite vacation destinations. I wonder if I should move there sometime.

As you pointed out, the Frizzle Chicken Cafe is where it is at. Nothing like being serened with Sweet Caroline by dozens of animatronic chickens while enjoying breakfast.

I’d like to add that for Old Mill-I usually go to that bus stop to park my car. They offer a $3 tram pass for the day that goes everywhere, even right up to Dollywood so you can avoid the giant parking lot and whatever the fee is these days…

The Magiquest that used to be in Myrtle Beach was twice as big. It was at Broadway at the Beach.

I used to buy Big Dog t-shirts. I think that shop there is the last one open. You can order shirts and stuff online though.

Living an hour away and going there a lot, I can say everything looks great from the street, it’s when you park and go to the buildings that the facade quickly fades away, pigeon forge should force these buildings be better maintained

I also find it quite interesting that each of the attractions on the side of the road here seems to have a good degree of 'space' for operations (and, sometimes, parking). Granted, one could critique that, from an 'urbanist' standpoint, for other reasons, but, for an "inevitable" touristy area, I think I prefer that design. Branson's 76, in terms of "space" for most attractions right by the road, seems incredibly 'restricted', like they "only have SO MUCH SPACE WE CAN ALLOT TO BUSINESSES", so, "we have to PACK EVERTYHING VERY-DENSELY." It's comically absurd Again, I enjoy visiting Branson, but... from a 'city design' or 'town design' perspective, they could learn a thing or 2 from PF and similar areas, at least! Seems to me that the folks who "started" setting-up Branson for its tourist expansion were "so caught up in getting tourism and attractions set-up" that they "forgot" to make a "more-proper road design." Again... 2 lanes, in total (for main driving straight) is inexcusable, for the *main road* that most-everyone drives on somewhat during a trip. It has to be at least 4-6, esp. in this day and age. For a very-rural 'country town', that may work, but for an area that gets *loads of people and attractions*, that's just nonsense

Road-wise, from what I can tell, Pigeon Forge (and probably Gatlinburg) actually seems "better designed" than Branson (or, at least, the 76 strip)? Like... instead of just TWO REGULAR LANES (w/ a middle lane for turning), it (Parkway) has, like... 4-6 lanes per stretch? Hopefully that, most of the time, at least helps *reduce congestion* to some degree? Granted, I haven't yet been to PF, but this definitely seems better, driving-wise, than the bullshit for the 'main drag' in Branson. I love vacationing in Branson, nonetheless, but the MAIN STRIP design was HORRID! Whoever came up with that crap should've been fired, imo! long ago I mean... only TWO regular lanes to drive on, in total, on the *main road* for attractions, in a "booming tourist town" (Branson)?? Whose STUPID idea was that Perhaps when I *actually visit* Pigeon Forge w/in the next 5 years or less, it'll be a 'different story' for me, but... I have confidence, to some extent, that it'd be "Far easier" to drive along *this* than the crap you gotta deal w/, most of the year, on and near 76 in Branson. I could be wrong, but... from what I can tell, in terms of *popular resort towns* in the US, Branson is, perhaps, one of THE FEW- if the only- that has a "main road" that's so horribly, incompetently set-up? Again... WHY ONLY 2 MAIN FUCKING LANES? I guess it's "generous" that whoever designed 76 'gave us a middle lane for turning' but.. still... Yes, there are *other roads* to go on w/ "a fair share" of stuff in Branson, to be fair, but... nonetheless, if you "wanna do a lot", you're gonna be on 76 for a 'good portion' of your trip, one way or the other. And there's only so much that using the colored routes in Branson can "do", prior to *getting on 76*. Unless the route 'connects' to an area *right by* your preferred part of 76, you're gonna be stuck in traffic, regardless.
