Can you dry wood indoors like an attached garage? I bought wood that’s around 20 to 25 percent and I want to keep it indoors in the garage. Just want to make sure it’s drying
@InTheWoodyard18 күн бұрын
Yes, it will just take longer. Anytime you add wind and heat to green wood it will dry faster than without. If you put it in shade and against a barrier(s) the wood will dry slower.
@TheHollabak00918 күн бұрын
Would a dehumidifier in the garage help so the air is circulating and is dry?

Ok Chris looking for your opinion, I do on average 40 full cords of wood a year. I don't have a tractor and I get tree service wood dropped off by the log truck load. I'm looking to upgrade splitters. I was wondering your true opinion on the sf16/20 I like the self driving aspect since I don't have a tractor and the attached conveyor is also a huge bennifit. Just looking for your opinion!

That dry bark less oak is exactly what I harvested from the Northern Highland forest of Vilas Co.
