America is under legit military occupation by its own ridiculous system. Pretty hilarious and ironic until you learn that throughout history of occupations and military police states that you have a 60 percent chance of being injured or killed just on your way to work. Not saying thats what the usa is at necessarily, but the rest of it is absolutely 100 percent true. The cops wont even save your kids, so what good are they? They serve and protect the rich for sure, but harass and assault the poor. Vote libertarian

@@MrEkzotic It is. Cops are absurdly over paid. The "cops are underpaid, and do a dangerous job!" is straight propaganda. Neither is true, they are the highest paid government officials, some can earn more than the mayor of the city. Some people try to back it up by mentioning the first couple of years not paying that well, but that's only because they have a high turnover rate. Not everyone can back the blue to their standards you know, some let pesky morals, and courage get in the way and need to be chased out. Once you get through that phase they are paid absurdly well, not counting workarounds like overtime, and working for private companies with state police powers. Who will literally pay anything they want because of the obvious benefit of hiring your own private cop. Plus pension. How many jobs do you know that have a pension these days?

Took a course to be certified to teach the MSF Basic Rider Course here with my local training org. One of my classmates during training was a retired motorcycle officer. Generally nice guy, thorough and easy to get along with. Suffice it to say he did have a lot of interesting insights to share however, including how he and his officer buddies would make a game of finding creative applications of traffic codes in order to pull people over. There are so many potential traffic violations, he asserted that if an officer wants to pull you over they will be able to find a reason. A firearms instructor I train with is also a retired officer. One of the lessons he taught during his CCW class is that the police are not your friends and not to talk to them.

Except he never was an ass. He was calm, even voiced, answered Travis's questions, didn't escalate the situation, and even left telling Travis to have a good night. All the time Travis was asking whether they were going to fight, stuttering his responses, making jerky movements, and doing everything that might make someone think he had a mental issue or was on drugs. I can't stand the cops but I really don't see where this cop was an ass.
