@@19fortnitecard.12No they made the first corner end sooner, people couldn’t handle the extended amount of G-force. It’s still pretty wild though lmao. I went on this thing the first weekend it opened. I still have the T-shirt and everything🔥

Smooth yes. Nice. Naw. This thing is mean!!! It’s seriously the most intense coaster in the world. It’s my number 1. Iv risen a few and haven’t found one more intense. That first turn you gray out (where your vision gets bury and you get tunnel vision) every time.

first drop is pretty fast, but nothing is compared to that first corner. airtime is pretty sweet when going over the first airtime hill, it really pulls you off the seat

Yeah, I remember trying this crazy machine two years ago. I recovered at the nearby pizza pavilion(took a good hour) was thoroughly scrambled. Much too intense for me! PWG

They removed the trims on the drop and as far as I know apparently at the end of last season they turned off the trims on the second hill, it was absolutely hauling.

The first turn was also re profiled although I probably would have blacked out on the ride had that not been done.

Coaster Expert I rode it when it had the original turn and no trims on the drop, it was incredible but the new turn is definitely more comfortable and makes the coaster re rideable. Before that I was done after one ride because it was just so intense.

@wutanoob again tho you really can not compare i-305 to either Diamond back nor Intimidator as Carowinds. Diamond back and Carowinds Intimidator you can compare all you want, as they're both B&M's with the same car/track style. But really comparing I305 to anything is not that possible... well maybe Maverick at Cedar Point you could possibly compare, but 2 different makers just doesn't work. and I agree they are both great in their own little ways :)

@iagomega - How can you compare the two Intimidators to each other? I305 is clearly not the same, and besides: Intimidator at Carowinds about 100ft shorter Intimidator: Carowinds: B&M: 211ft drop at 74 degrees: 75mph I305: Kings Dominion: Intamin: 300ft drop at 85 degrees: 79.5mph Just sayin'

@iagomega After riding them both over 20 times each during the summer, I found I305 (I rode it during it's most heavily trimmed period, with the shoulder straps) more entertaining than Diamondback. The sustained positive G's, forceful transitions and overall intensity of I305 satisfied me more than the constant airtime of Diamondback. Both great though. No denying that.

Sorry but Im DONE going to this park. It's been going on SEVEN YEARS since this coaster was installed(the last coaster kings dominion will EVER GET) and I'm getting fed up hearing about the SAME four parks in the cedar fair chain getting new coasters at the rate of one every four years,next year it's kings island,then in 2018 it'll be canada's wonderland,in 2019 it'll be carowinds and in 2020 it'll be cedar point with the four park rotation starting at kings island again for 2021. What's more is that I'm FED UP with MY money spent on season passes to kings dominion(at the cost of 80 dollars per year) being used to finance this spending spree for the so called "big four" parks of the chain that I'd previously mentioned. Sorry kings dominion and cedar fair but you have officially lost me as a customer and I;ll be returning to six flags america instead....six flags is not only closer to home for me but their season passes are about 30 dollars cheaper too.

Michael Zell Cedar Fair is very bad to just do those four and I have experienced it myself. I wouldn't stop yet though. KD is doing the rmc treatment in the hurler for 2018. it will be a fantastic improvement. Six Flags America is worse trust me.
