I now become your fan for your crispy analysis. I sent my views to other ( you tube) similar analysis done by various knowledgeable personalities that we should follow batsmen like Laxman, Azaruddin to play backfoot while play on bouncy tracks. Surprisingly nobody appears to note this important point. But you expressed correctly playing at crease could not be correct method. Rohit previously played in middle order. Suddenly seeing his aggression in short form cricket, he was sent as opener. Tendulkar opened in onedayers but never in Test match. This concept surprisingly not in the minds of Team management or selectors or batsman concerned. Why a world class batsman Virat could not adjust his playing method to leave deliveries out side off stump is a very big question. How many times he got out, is not a question for himself, it seems. He decided to play out side off stump deliveries . I am afraid any coach brought this point to his notice. Anybody has terrific records but when you are not able to play good knocks at least every 2nd or 3rd time he goes for batting. If you are really a great player of India and when you are not successful continuously, leave/quit the team for some other player who can do good for the team and country. Country needs brave selectors/coaches to help team and our country. Such erstwhile players who are are still in playing 11 are not ashamed themselves for not able to contribute .
