And she did a pretty good job at it too for being Se Inferior. I noticed some of the swaying movements seemed a bit unnatural, but that's to be expected. It's really hard to fake body language (even politicians can mask it only so well). If you're not confident about doing something, your body is going to show it. But when she gets more used to it, she'll feel more natural doing it, and it will show. Some of the best comedians are INTJs who have developed their Se Inferior and made it Aspirational, giving them access to their ESFP Subconscious.

65 yr-old INTJ man here. This was great video! Poor Se. I was financial analyst in large corporations, designed and implemented bullet-proof accounting and reporting systems. Workaholic, pulled all-nighters, sacrificed time with family, etc. Solved all problems; adapted to all changes. Made SVP and was subject matter expert, but the CAO who believed in me retired along with my managers. Took severance and retired. For poor Se I seem to sleep all the time now. I watched your Ni vid, then Te, Fi and finally Se. They were almost spot on predictors/explainers of my entire career. Being INTJ in a company filled with type-A extroverts is not easy. Thank you for your excellent videos. In your vid about things that irritate you, you listed “having to show your work.” I laughed until I cried. I could relate. Bless you, and thanks again.

I test as an INTJ but I'm not sure. I definitely identify with the stereotype and people who know me best have told me that I am like this, but I wish there was an easy objective way to determine, that was affordable or free. I know about objective personality and I'm subscribed to their channel also but I don't know if I could afford their testing. The problem comes in where sometimes I act more like an ESFP, especially in comfortable situations. Do you think it could be because both INTJ and ESFP have the same tools in their cognitive stacks? In my daily life I am definitely introverted and always in my head thinking about the most likely future scenarios and I neglect some SE activities, like my room is always messy and I can just shut off the outside world even my body and be so involved in something that nothing can stop me or bother me. At the same time I have no problem taking charge or taking lead in a social situation if I have to. People think I'm funny and have a lively unpredictable personality, but that's only in small groups of people that I am very close to. Anyway, just some ideas for topics I'd like to see you make videos on: INTJ and paranoia INTJ and similarity and difference with ESFP INTJ and religion/paranormal/fantasy INTJ shadow functions and how you see them and how they interact with the regular functions or eachother Last thing, I love your channel!
@Zolluzione4 жыл бұрын
If you go by C.S.Josephs model, ESFP is the subconscious side of the INTJ. If you're able to get in the moment enough and allow your subconscious mind to take over, you'll appear and function as an ESFP, theoretically. If you develop all four cognitive functions (to the same level of strength) you should have an easier time switching between the two sides of consciousness. The subconscious side of the mind is responsible for your "flow state" and you can respond much quicker (think fighter pilot response time). This is how I understand things and until proven wrong this is what I hold as true. Fucking debate me (ENTP shadow) LOLZ
@dacksonflux4 жыл бұрын
@@Zolluzione C.S. Joseph has a very clear agenda so I'd recommend anyone take his content with a grain of salt. He's not the worst place to start, though.
@TheBittenBullet4 жыл бұрын
Yes. It sounds like you should definitely check out CS Joseph's #4SidesOfTheMind and INTJ videos. Based on what you've said here, it sounds like he's exactly what you're looking for. But @Dackson Flux has a good point too -- especially since I have feeling you'll really connect with what he has to say. Personally, I've been watching CSJ's stuff for 6 months now, and I believe he's really on to something and that he genuinely means well.

I once asked my dad to help me solve a Calculus problem after I tried reading some books, watching tutorials, etc. For weeks without getting anywhere. I ask him, and the first thing he does after reading the problem is to think out loud and try to bring even more ideas to sort out which one makes the problem make sense. Now, I thought I had a big enough problem, but when he started adding trigonometry, and unrelated algebra cases, it got overwhelming to me, until he somehow solved it. The next problem that that presented was that I could not replicate his thought pattern to get to that answer so that I can solve more problems like that in the future, because there wasn't any pattern. And so I had to start over, because I was looking for a thinking pattern, not a "quick fix" 🤷🙅

@@InternetLiJo At the very least, the "I need sleep" part. But also you were like "feed me" but I'm not sure if you meant that literally, or metaphorically/psychically. Hunger is also an Si thing. I know myers-briggs and socionics have different emphasis / can't seem to agree on both Se and Si but I think almost everyone would agree that being aware of internal body states = Si
