Is this really how we look to people? dark lords and evil sorcerors? One dimensional villains are theatrical creations, not real life characters. Intjs are more like anti-heroes. We wanna do what we think is right, but on our own terms. Gandalf is accurate. That's pretty much how a 1,000 year old intj would look.
@jeremygrossnickle55613 жыл бұрын
Yes, I believe that you're absolutely right. Personality does not define morality. Each person has the choice to use their gifts any way they'd like, either for good or for evil. Hollywood usually seizes upon stereotypes to make their movies which is why you see so many villains in this type. I try to include as much diversity as I can, but they can really make it hard for me. In my ISFJ video for instance, I couldn't find any villains of the type to use. We need some more INTJs like Gandalf to create a positive stir, and then maybe things will change.

Furthermore, I think Sherlock is the INTJ, and Moriarty is whoever thinks they can fux with an INTJ. I worked with 2 ISTJs at the same time, one male and one female. They are punks and the males don't know when to stop with their b.s.. ISTJs are usually the ones who are that fake edgy woe is me wannabe INTJs, and come at us, not knowing we are the fallen angel on the regular and the devil himself when provoked and Noone would ever know where it came from. ISTJs want recognition too badly that they talk about their deepest puddle plans to the ones they think are under their mind control. Even their puppets betray them. ISTJs are the serial killers. Intj’s are always portrayed as villains and I began to hate my mbti because of how most of media portrays the INTJ. Personally I’m a mix of being cynical with a bit of optimism, yet people expect more of a reaction out of me or become disappointed when I say a mere fact that tumbles their fantasy of a perfect life. I never even fit in with “nerds” or asocials because they were terrified or wanted to make fun of me so that they could fit in with their own clique. Maybe you’ve already seen it, but I include Mr. Spock in my ISTJ video. Gandalf is an INFJ. Saruman would be an INTJ.

Katniss is typed as an ISTP though, I feel like these are just stereotypes, not really describing cognitive functions

Wow , female intj scary enough

You might be wrong about Katnis, even personality database says that she is INTJ
@inactive8873 жыл бұрын
@@fromtheearth7627 it says she's ISTP in both adaptations. if she's INTJ, where is inferior Se? same with Natasha. they're both so in tune with their environments.

I can believe the ladies are ISTP, but I was thinking while watching the Gandalf scenes that maybe it is true that he has blind spot Fe. Is it an Fe thing to say, "Throw yourself in next time, and rid us of your stupidity!" I dunno maybe it is because it seems like Fe people sometimes say harsh stuff they don't mean to get their point across.

@@brendangolledge8312 As an INTJ, I can explain to you that Fe trickster doesn't quite work that way. Every time I try to reach out to a person's emotions, I always say the WRONG thing. That's how the trickster function works... or fails to work in this case. A mature INTJ like Gandalf does what I do and takes advantage of this. Sometimes it is appropriate to say the wrong thing. Sometimes it is appropriate to say something confusing and hurtful... like when your young friend does something REALLY stupid and REALLY dangerous.

"Fool of a Took! Throw yourself in next time and rid us of your stupidity" an INFJ will never say such a thing (not out loud at least )
