Thank you so much for this presentation. I was excited when I saw a mission car pulling into Andrews Barracks in 1970 with vegetation hanging out of the frame. I was lucky enough to have it explained at the time.

Potsdam Mission is a great book on this largely forgotten subject.

Funny to see that this mission was using what we had at home- I remember when my dad brought home a new 1963 Ford Galaxie 500 XL, which eventually became the first car that I drove.

Last i saw, the intel museum on Ft Huachuca featured a Mercedes G-Wagon that was used in this mission.
