Wow, 16 years already.... Seems like yesterday. I still remember the first time I heard this cover. I think it's the best cover I've ever heard of an already beautiful song. The fact that it belongs to 2007 brings back fond memories of a time when everything used to be much simpler. A time when I was happy without knowing it. I hope you are feeling very well, wherever you want to be now.

You understood the assignment when you did this cover. You didn't go over the top with the singing and kept it true. Some other covers, the singers push it too hard and they lose the subtle beauty and melancholy. This is a simple song and you leverage your vocals just right. This cover moves me just as much as the 93 live recording for MTV. Thank you for your efforts over 16 years ago, they are appreciated.
