7:50 Shao Kahn voice, awesome made the game more menacing...One thing I thought in the movie was when Scorpion fighting Johnny Cage and Cage killed scorpion with a shield, the shield was on fire by Scorpion's fire...I think that was a reference or jab at Killer Instince since Spinal from Killer Instinct had a shield that was on fire

I should've watched this yesterday in honor of Mortal Kombat 3's 20th Anniversary. The game debuted in Arcades on 04/01/1995. I was 9 years old & in 4th Grade at the time. I did play the Arcade version (ported to PlayStation 2 Midway Arcade Treasures 2) last night before I went to bed.

if video game devs can make 3d models resemble the flat animation styles of anime/cartoons via cel shading, can they manipulate 3d models to reflect the old school style of digitized graphics? cuz that's what i'd like to see in the next MK.

The best thing about him is that almost no one could play like him, and would laugh when they first saw that they would play against the AI version of him... Honestly, Stryker was the HARDEST AI PLAYER IN MK3!! :S

It is kinda a bummer that Boon and Tobias had a bit of a falling out. Does anyone really know why John left? Did he feel he was in Ed's shadow or something like that? I know they briefly united when MK vs DC was in development and he did some art for the game but that seems to be it. It just seems a bit cold that John has been pushed out on a lot of recent documentaries about the series. I understand that Ed is the programming guru of the team and he does put this all together. At the same time though, John pretty much created the MK universe and without his ideas and art there wouldn't have been any game to program. Maybe someday they'll start working again on future MK and other titles but I feel there is just too much resentment over the years for that every to happen.
