Good show. Great job as always Steve and Scott. Unfortunately capts out of Louisiana are scumbags. Who charges 2k for a charter and then asks to pay for their fuel. What's the point. Include it in the cost of the charter. No where else in the world is this done.

I find plenty of charters online for venice la and they charge 1800 or 1600 for 6 ppl. That's not bad for being able to catch anything you basically want. Stop bitching and don't go there if you can't afford it or appreciate it. I go once a yr to venice and it the best fishing every time I go. I live in daytona beach florida

peterk814 I recently looked at some ads for Florida. They only charge about $400 for 4 hours for 1 to 3 people. I can't imagine paying 2k. That sounds ridiculous.

That's for a 10-12 hour trip . You can't compare prices when one is 4 times longer than the other. They also have really nice boats and you can catch lots of really nice fish. The ones your looking at are probably tiny boats that barely go offshore.

I'm from the West coast and we catch albacore all the time that seem to be attracted to the motion of the boat motor and the prob wash... I wonder if those fish aren't attracted to the thrusters moving all that water, bait ect..
