The Arachnophiles are actually fine once you get used to them and use Kai in the main mech to get spider bots with a lot of kills. The worst squad hands down is Blitzkrieg. The main weapon just damages enemies and unless they are low HP, doesn't kill them. Because it also doesn't move them or disable them, enemies will just carry on with their attack. The weapon also damages your own units. It's so awful the best strategy is just to hope you roll a decent replacement weapon at the end of island 1.

Great content my dude. I disagree on arachnophiles being the worst, mostly because zenith guard still exists. Any team where damage is important suffers hard on high difficulties where everything has 4+ HP. Having a boosted pilot makes arachnophiles just ridiculously better, but you're right that the pilot shouldn't be the fix to a mess. But that's similar to how much better the Unstable Mechs are with Abe or frozen titans with bethany/mafan. Kinda wish the new best pilot as a result of these designs (kai) wasn't so insufferable. Personally I think the heat sinkers are the weakest of the new squads. Arachnophiles feel just a bit middle of the road compared the God tier bomber Mechs and mist eaters.

At least the laser mech can get to 4 damage. Lightning mech can only do 3, and that will always almost kill all the friendly units too...
