INTO THE BUSH! SCOUTING MISSION IN SEARCH OF WOLF FISH! Freshwater Lake Fishing In Trinidad & Tobago

A couple weeks ago, the inshore fishing himself, ZZ and I made a trek into the bush to look for the prized freshwater fish of Trinidad...The Wolf Fish!
Now the main purpose of this mission was to scout the area to see if we would be able to get the kayak up the track, into the bush and then into the lake to make a real kayak fishing mission.
Of course, we had to walk with some gears to do some fishing as well. Fishing from the bank in this spot with artificials is always a challenge, but we still managed to catch a couple fish!

Nice little adventure bro. Just a little warning. Some coworkers of mine who frequent the area speak about some massive bushmasters on the trails and paths during this dry season. They are very aggressive bro! Hit the bait like no other! They do taste good...But A LOT of very small bones or picker!! Can be hard to eat if you dont prepare correctly!

Yh ik these type usally feed between evening to night but recently I’ve been seen people use artificial and catching then during the day. Guessing artificial the way to go 😅💯

It is easier to get them on live bait....But it is more fun on artificials! And they do work any time of the day! Great type of fishing!
