Re a di tshaba, The camera was mounted on a tripod and put on the ground till we got closer to it, plus it was midday nd the view was also clear for a good distance with no any shade tree nearby

Land Cruiser doesnt usually overheat on the CKGR terrain, you just have to avoid the low gears that shoot your revs high, and keep high gears that will take advantage of the huge torque inherent in the Land Cruiser, and that means keeping your speed lower on the technical sections

I think you should avoid driving during the night for so long because wild animals are more active during the night. It is simply not safe and being out of your vehicles at such time is even more dangerous. Unless this reserve does not have animals. You did not put on your seat belt both of you and the co driver is also consuming alcohol. I think you should learn the basics of overlanding. 4X4 driving is a different game. Please respect nature and it will respect you.

We were travelling with govt officers and were given permission to travel at night, during that funeral time people preparing and some attending the funeral were allowed that's why you saw the park gate was being opened for us and them at night, thanks for the feedback and advice, I do respect nature, seat belt is uncomfortable on that route😂 and we were drivin at no more than 40kmh. But advise taken. Out of vehicles was stops at the settlements and it's open space. Game sightings is very low is southern ckgr and we did not see even a single animal on our way back despite traveling for 6 hours
