It was indeed an amazing experience! At first, I was reluctant to go down the crater, but it's a good thing I did, and it was all worth it. Best regards!

The views are really amazing from the top! My daughter will normally travel to Auckland in February, so I'll tell her about this place, I think she'll love it!

This hike looks very cool. Love the views and landscaps along the way. Reminds me of something out of the Lord of the rings movies. similar part of the world for sure. The view of the city from the top is very nice.

It was indeed an amazing hike especially going down the crater. Unfortunately, this was not one of the locations in the Lord of the Rings movie. Thanks for your kind remarks. Best regards.

Great views from the top. At least there is a path around the rim. I am surprised that there is no formal trail down to the crater.

Thanks for your lovely comments. Yes, I also noticed that there is no formal walkway or stairs going down the crater. It would be nice though for visitors to experience what's like in the crater. Warmest regards!

I have a bad vibe on craters and New Zealand..huh, be careful out there!

There are about 50 volcanoes in Auckland, and you can walk around and down the crater of most of them. It's a nice experience.

good info along the way with the writing and its a place i wish i could go one day. What was your favorite part of the hike? do you recommend going there? what did you film with?
@PabloVillasenorPresents8 ай бұрын
Thank you for your kind words. I liked going down the crater as if entering another dimension. If you love outdoor and hiking, then this is the place you should/must visit. I used my old gadgets in filming (iPhone 6 Plus and GoPro Hero 4 Black). Warmest regards.
