I've heard so much about this book and it totally sounds up my street! I don't think it would creep me out IF it wasn't set in the ocean, but that's gunna creep me the fuck out hahaha. I was only able to watch the spoiler free section of this but it really sounds like a well written book with developed characters and I'm glad you enjoyed it!

I did not like Into the Drowning Deep but I really really appreciate Seanan Mcguire's devotion to researching and depicting the deaf characters as accurately as possible. I am Deaf and it's incredibly rare to find decent representation

That's a shame you didn't love the book but I'm so glad you liked the deaf representation, It's not something I've seen much in books either!
