They talk at the end about how emotional they all were. They mentioned that they knew it was going to be rough because they couldn't even make it through it during rehearsals for it. They said they sang off key and Heeseung got choked up. Jake tried to lighten the mood and clowned himself that he didn't drop his mic this time! lol

This was so emotional and brought up a the little bit of frustration I felt for how bad they did Ni-Ki on this back in I-Land. It was the first test and performance. He took the lead instead of Heeseung (which we all understand Hee has the better vocal and is great at leading, but at the time the contestants felt like Ni-Ki was doing better teaching them and was basically more approachable, so they voted for them to switch positions). It was a HUGE responsibility leading for the 1st performance when they did not even understand how the judging was going to go. Our Ni-Ki struggled since it is a high register song and he has a beautiful DEEP voice, but I was so proud of him for not giving up and he actually did a great job, not only on his part but getting the entire group together. What upset me the most about it though was that they had the I-Landers' scores hidden (unassigned: so they knew what the scores were but didn't know which person got which score) - Ni-Ki despite having the LEAD part and being scored the hardest by the judges, having all the drama from the group, fighting nerves and knocked self confidence, being only 14, being away alone in a foreign country where he was only beginning to learn the language, and obviously the enormous responsibility on his shoulders - DESPITE ALL of that, he scored one of the higher scores. Since the I-Landers weren't told who got which score though, they assumed Ni-Ki did horrible, failed the group, and they voted him to Ground. :( Ironically, the voting changed starting the next test to show which member got which score so they could send the lowest score person down and be objective about it. It was so hard to see all the hard things they made this boy go through, but it made me even more proud to see him debut with Enhypen! They all worked incredibly hard to make debut and all bring different things to Enhypen, but Ni-Ki hands down had the toughest journey to get there. My mom and I are older Engene 35 &63 and we were in awe of how mature he was for his age, his work ethic, and respectful character - we voted for him all through I-Land and continue to love and support him and the rest of Enhypen. We have been to see them live twice last year (mind blowing experience!!) and are planning for their Fate Tour now. Enhypen was so emotional singing this song and I am sure there was not 1 Eggie-Engene that was not sobbing watching this and remembering the rollercoaster of feelings we experienced with I-Landers each week.
